Ways to Reuse Laguna Candles Vessels

Our mission here at Laguna Candles  is to provide a wonderful Eco friendly product, and that is why I thought I would make weekly suggestions as to how you can reuse our product.  One of the unique ways to reuse our recyclable vessels would be display objects on shelves or counter tops, as we have done below.

One  of benefits when using our Soy, Coconut and Palm wax candles , once you are done burning the candle just simply wash  the container  with soap and water and reuse it.

Soy vs Beeswax Candles, What’s the difference?

Gec Pillar Bedroom modern LCw

There’s no doubt about it, we love candles in our home, our office, our bath, our kitchen, even in our garage ( when we’re out there working).  Because we sell lots of candles (only Soy & Beeswax) we also burn them a lot.

So if you were to ask me, “What’s the difference between Soy candles & Beeswax candles?”, I would start by saying this; “Both candles are similar in a number of ways, but vary with the consumer’s purpose and price point.  Consumer “A” might feel compelled to purchase Soy because they think of Soy as a natural gift from a plant instead of a worker bee’s honey and consumer “B” might prefer Beeswax for it’s medicinal puposes.

However, rest assured that if you choose either type of candle you’ve made a good choice because these are the only two natural substances candles are made from that are pure, clean burning and contain no paraffin.

I know some of you might say, “I was hoping for a little more info”.  Well in that case here you go, it breaks down like this:

  •  Soy candles cost signifigantly less (5 times) than 100% Beeswax candles.
  •  Beeswax candles have greater oil retention making for longer lasting fragrances in your home.
  • Soy candles are less difficult and less time consuming to harvest, thus consuming less energy.
  • Beeswax candles are great for those with allergies, it has medicinal purposes.
  • Soy candles are derived from the soybean, they have the approval of vegetarians and vegans.
  • Beeswax candles are said to further build the immune system, over time, by emitting negative ions that clean the air in your home.
  • Soy candles are perfect for households with children, Soy wax is water soluble which makes spills easy clean-up with soap & water.
  • Beeswax candles have a slightly longer burn time.
  • Soy candles are renowned for not putting as much soot into the air, more practical for the environment.

Which ever candle you choose  you’ll be filling your home with pure scents that will evoke memories of the past, fill your spaces with light and warm your soul with pleasant scents that will make your home unique and inviting.
